World Environment Day is observed at 12.00 PM in the college today. A one day seminar is held to mark very theme of Beat Plastic Pollution for a sustainable environment. Dr. Dulen Basumatary vice principal offered keynote address and Sh. Mantu Boro Asst. prof. of political science presented his PPT as resource person on the topic.
Earlier, an awareness program was held at Salbari Bazar at 10.30 AM today morning. Hundreds of people gathered in the program. How the use of plastics has affected the environment and has brought near to the shutting down the breath of life is explained in the meeting.
