An awareness campaign on Illegal Brood Stock Fishing Activity was held today at 10.30 am in College Auditorium under the aegis of IQAC where Kalpajit Kalita, Sub-Divisional Fishery Officer, Karimganj took part as the Resource Person. Mr. Kalita, in his short but fruitful deliberation, explained the Assam Fisheries Rule, 1953 & 2005 as amended before the students. He advised the students not to perfom fishing Activity during 1st April to 15th July of the year as Fishes breeds during this period.
